Individual Counseling

We offer collaborative, trauma-informed counseling services to all survivors impacted by sexual violence, regardless of when it occurred. Services are provided free of charge and are available both in person and virtually for individuals living in Alabama. Insurance is not required.

Our counseling services are specifically designed to support survivors as they process trauma, rebuild a sense of safety and control, and move forward in their healing journey. Therapy takes place in a safe, supportive environment and at a pace that feels right for each individual. The length of therapy varies based on individual needs. When individuals feel ready, our therapist can assist with transitioning to a long-term provider if desired.

Our therapist is specially trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. EMDR can be costly and difficult to access, and we are able to offer this specialized service at no cost to those we serve.

You must be 14 years of age or older to receive our counseling services. There is currently no waitlist.
